A cozy stranded knit hat pattern from the Karine series by Knit & Gather.
Construction: This hat is knit from the brim up - starting with a provisional cast on to join later in pattern. Knitting direction changes midway to create the colorwork top. Decreases are worked into the chart. Folding up the brim creates the finished look! DK weight for MC (approx 200 yds / 183 m) & Suri Silk for CC (approx 110 yds / 100 m) Size US 4 / 3.5mm 16” circular needle (or size needed to match gauge) DPNs or a 32”+ circular needle for magic loop Gauge: 22 sts & 25 rows = 4” in stranded colorwork blocked Finished hat = 24” around x 7.5” tall
